prologue

The purpose of this blog is primarily to motivate myself. I like food, and I like pictures, unfortunately I've been slacking in both channels of creativity. While I don't want to bind myself to some written contract on Blogger, what I do want to do is really work on my cooking and lighting skills. And by cooking I mean cooking. As for the lighting, the variety of lighting that applies to photography.

Combining the two, I am challenging myself to produce amazing pictures of amazing food that will make me want it. If I look at the pictures and don't find myself with a desire to eat, I deem that a fail, but if I find myself drooling over the pictures, well I guess that's a win. Plus, the food will be there for me to eat anyway.

I'm excited.

Oh and if you find yourself reading my blog for some inexplicable reason, expect a healthy dose of nonsense with a sprinkle of randomness. :)
